Adversity…

Adversity [Acrylic on “18 x “24 Canvas]

A Note From The Artist:

‘This year is different. It’s getting even difficult to write about things to inspire other readers. But maybe, in a way, that’s a good thing. We see comfort as a safe place, only it isn’t permanent, however, we choose to think that it is. It’s one of the things that hinder us from growing and striving for what we think is right.
Personally, this year is going to be a turning point for a lot of ambitious souls. Living in a lie isn’t going to work if we really want to see some change in our lives, and more importantly, the world. Time is running out, and if you’re still wondering when will be the perfect time to come out of your shell, this is it.
This year is a wake up call. It’s frightening and exciting all at once–to see what you are capable of amidst adversity. I’m rooting for you.’

Renztelle Miclat is an amateur artist from the Philippines. Though she has a career in finance, she has decided to pursue her passion for the arts. “What I love about traditional painting is that besides having to express what I truly feel about a certain thing, I am able to express my thoughts along with my paintings. That’s why for every painting, I compose a short inspirational essay to go along with it. Ever since I started three years ago, a lot of people messaged me online saying how they were able to connect with my art. I’m grateful that I get to do what I love to do, I am also able to inspire others to pursue their passion as well. Giving me this exposure would be a great help & platform for me to continue.
